Precipitation, averaging three to 4 inches (75 to one hundred mm) each month, is evenly dispersed. The coastal parts have fairly warmer winters and cooler summers than does the interior, and the northwestern uplands are large ample to acquire cooler and longer winters with heavier falls of snow.
